CURRENT JOB AVAILABILITY

Landscape or maintain grounds of commercial or retail properties. This position is full or part time during the months of March – November. It is typically first shift on weekdays, with the possibility of overtime. Wage is negotiable based on experience and driving capabilities. 

Tasks:

-Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters and pruning saws.

-Mow or edge lawns using power mowers or edgers.

-Shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt (de-icer) in those areas.

-Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.

-Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.

-Prune or trim trees, shrubs or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.

-Gather and remove litter.

-Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools.

-Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.

-Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, or other grounds features.

-Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.

-Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds.

-Rake, mulch, and compost leaves.

-Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage.

-Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using garden tools.

-Reading and interpreting maps and route sheets to provide accurate service.

Power sweeping/portering of parking lots and grounds of commercial or retail properties. This is a full or part time, year round position. We service our customers overnight (third shift), seven days a week. There is a possibility of overtime with this position. Wage is negotiable based on experience and driving capabilities.

Tasks:

-Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as vacuum truck, backpack and hand blowers, Billy Goat vacuums.

-Use hand tools, such as garbage pickers, brooms and shovels.

-Gather and remove litter from parking lots, curb lines, mulch beds and grassy areas.

-Empty garbage cans and replace with new liners.

Maintain or repair tools and equipment.

-Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots.

If you have partial availability or would like to be on our back up (reserve list), we will work with you. This is a great job for students, seasonal workers, or as a second part-time job. Wage is negotiable based on experience and driving capabilities.

We are looking to hire equipment owner operators who have the ability to service our customers during snow related weather events. Full availability whenever it snows is great, or we can work around your other obligations in your schedule and help fill in your routes with work from us. We are interested in all types of equipment you may have available from ATV’s, tractors, pickups, dump trucks, skid steers, loaders, etc.
